A udury was always there to greet us when we came downstairs and was consistently ready to help—I’m not sure when he even found time to sleep during our three-day stay! Evan also stepped in when we had a small issue in our room while room service was unavailable, and his assistance was greatly appreciated. Both staff members were truly wonderful and made our stay better. However, I would skip breakfast at the hotel next time, as it was quite basic for the price.
My husband has taken me to this hotel twice now, and it truly is a hidden gem! Every aspect of it radiates luxury — from the signature scents that greet you upon arrival to the elegant color palette and beautifully chosen furnishings that create a refined, romantic atmosphere. You can tell that every detail has been thoughtfully curated.The staff are exceptional — warm, kind, and genuinely attentive — making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. If you’re thinking of staying here, don’t hesitate for a second; you won’t regret it. And while you’re there, be sure to dine at their restaurant, Norca. Whether you enjoy your meal in the restaurant or order through room service, it’s an experience not to be missed.
I had such a wonderful stay at Le Germain, I really recommend it to anyone who wants to have classy and restful stay. The rooms are really big, the washrooms are amazing, the bed is super comfortable, the staff is SO NICE and accommodating, I even had the opportunity to extend my stay free until the afternoon free of charge. Truly one of the most beautiful and nice hotel I had the opportunity to stay in.
We had a wonderful stay at Le Germain. The staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Beautiful views of Ottawa and amazing coffee/treats at the Jackson Cafe. Would highly recommend and love to go back!
The Le Germain staff in every department, are the absolute leading tier of hospitality. Every encounter, request and experience was memorable and appreciated. We had an unfortunate situation at another hotel that was booked for the night before our wedding, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate and adjust the existing reservation for our wedding night, to meet our needs. Thank you for showing the best customer service we've ever experienced. We will be booking your sister hotel in Montreal for a mini honeymoon, purely based on the Ottawa location's hospitality. Went here on a whim for wife birthday. We both loved it right from the time we checked in. The vibe of the place is very well thought out. The colour's and perfectly seleted furniture and smells draw you in right away. Once checkin was complete (only took a few minutes) off to the room. Open the door fall in love. Very masculine room dark, well thought out colour scheme, great furniture. The lighting in the room was great. 5/5 Great location only minutes from Rideau Center or the clubs of the byward market. 5/5 Food was delicious ordered room service. It comes from the hotels restaurant. Norca. 5/5 Overall 5/5 for this beautiful hotel. Every aspect thought out. Just another edit. Went back for the second time for a NYE celebration. They upgraded or room to a beautiful room(recommend 1401!!) This room has 1.5 bathroom. Huge soaker tube, dual sink, heated floor in bathroom, giant shower. The livingroom comes with a 3 seater couch, 75 inch tv, nice comfortable lounge chair. This room also includes a wine fridge, microwave, and a dining room table.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Germain Hotels. The service truly stood out—especially from Nic and Chris at the front desk. They were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a real difference and elevated the entire experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Travelling for work and staying in such a beautiful, luxe hotel. I’m so here for the green movement, reducing plastic bottle waste, fresh ice water stations on every floor, and energy-conscious rooms. The view was stunning, the stay was seamless, and the staff? So professional with genuinely warm customer service. Grateful for spaces that care about both people and the planet.
